ASTYMIN-3 20 ML INJECTION

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Astymin-3 20 ml Injection is a prescription medicine which contains essential amino acids. Generally, it is given to hospitalized patients (who are on I.V. drip such as Dextrose, Ringer lactate etc.) to improve the nitrogen balance. It helps to improve the nutritional status and strengthen the immunity especially in hospitalized patients. In addition, it ensures the proper growth and functioning of the body.

USES OF ASTYMIN-3 20 ML INJECTION

It improves the nutritional status by correcting negative nitrogen balance.

It is used to fortify I.V drip nutritionally.

DOSAGE

Astymin-3 20 ml Injection should be administered as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may vary based on factors such as the severity of your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and never exceed it without consulting your doctor.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION AND DIRECTION TO USE

Astymin-3 20 ml Injection has to be administered via I.V route only.

Pregnancy

Breastfeeding

Your attending doctor decides the usage of this product during breastfeeding after evaluating benefits & risks and hence consult your doctor.

Alcohol

It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Astymin-3 20 ml Injection. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

The dose adjustment may be required if you have any liver disorders. Your attending doctor decides the usage of this product after evaluating benefits & risks and hence consult your doctor.

Kidney

The dose adjustment may be required if you have any kidney disorders. Your attending doctor decides the usage of this product after evaluating benefits & risks and hence consult your doctor.

Using Machines & Driving

Astymin-3 20 ml Injection contains essential amino acids which does not affect your ability to drive or operate heavy machinery.

SIDE EFFECTS

Generally, Astymin-3 20 ml Injection is well tolerated. Inform your doctor if you have any allergic reactions/ hypersensitivity reactions to this product

DRUG INTERACTIONS

Generally, Astymin-3 20 ml Injection is well tolerated. In case if you are taking any concomitant medications, please inform your doctor.

STORAGE & HANDLING

Store Astymin-3 Injection in a cool, dry place not exceeding 30°C.

Keep this medicine strictly out of the reach of children.
