PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Peglec powder contains an osmotic laxative and electrolytes for an oral solution, which is used as a gastrointestinal lavage (used for cleansing the colon). Cleansing the colon is vital to get an accurate colonoscopy and barium enema X-ray examination.

Polyethylene glycol 3350 U.S.P. 118.0 g
Sodium Chloride I.P. 2.93 g
Potassium Chloride I.P. 1.484 g
Sodium Bicarbonate I.P. 3.370 g
Anhydrous Sodium Sulphate B.P. 11.360 g

SAFETY MEASURES
SIDE EFFECTS: Generally, Peglec powder is well tolerated. Inform your doctor if you have any allergic reactions/hypersensitivity reactions to this product.
STORAGE & HANDLING: Store protected from light and moisture at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees C. Use the prepared Peglec solution immediately. Do not store the solution for later use later.

Regarding the intake of food/liquid prior to the administration of Peglec solution, please consult your doctor.
It is used for bowel cleansing the bowel during certain diagnostic procedures & before surgeries. This helps to keep the colon clean so that the parts of the colon can be viewed clearly and does not interfere during the surgical procedure if any.
