PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Peglec Plus contains osmotic laxative, electrolytes and activated dimethicone for oral solution which is used as a gastrointestinal lavage (used for cleansing the colon). Cleansing the colon is vital to get an accurate colonoscopy and barium enema X-ray examination.
COMPOSITION
Each sachet (136.8g) contains:
Polyethylene Glycol 4000 I.P. 116.8 g
Potassium Chloride I.P. 1.44 g
Sodium Chloride I.P. 2.88 g
Sodium Bicarbonate I.P. 3.36 g
Anhydrous Sodium Sulphate I.P. 11.36 g
Activated Dimethicone I.P. 0.08 g
When dissolved in clean drinking water to make 2 liters, the final solution contains the following:
Polyethylene glycol 18 m.mol/L Chloride 35 m.mol/L
Sodium 125 m.mol/L Sulphate 40 m.mol/L
Potassium 10m.mol/L Bicarbonate 20 m.mol/L
Dosage form: Powder for oral solution

CONTRAINDICATIONS
SIDE EFFECTS: Generally, Peglec Plus is well tolerated. Inform your doctor if you have any allergic reactions/ hypersensitivity reactions to this product.
STORAGE & HANDLING: Store protected from light and moisture at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees C. Use the prepared Peglec Plus solution immediately. Do not store the solution for later use later.
